Dr. Dipen Shah, MD

Dr. Shah is a firm believer of the motto, “Prevention is better than cure.” So that he can instill this, he chose primary care. Being a Board Certified Family physician, he feels privileged to take care of all age groups from newborns to great grandparents. He manages and is very comfortable with all acute as well as complicated chronic conditions.

Always fascinated with science and research, he worked at Duke University Medical Center on “Depression and Congestive Heart Failure study” prior to his residency.

Dr. Shah has a wide variety of interests. He enjoys playing chess, traveling, reading and learning different cultures. But above those things, he loves to spend time with his family.

Dr. Jennifer

Jennifer Wilkins, FNP

Mrs. Wilkins has been an NP since 1998 focusing on holistic primary care. Her experiences range from ICU nursing, Internal Medicine, and Family Practice. Her special interests are in nicotine cessation and chronic health conditions including hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, and diabetes. Her practice focuses on health promotion and prevention treating infants to geriatrics. She is a NC native, an avid UNC fan, loves gardening, scrapbooking, and music. Mrs. Wilkins is married with two children and a dachshund.

Mary Beth Lipscomb FNP-C

Mrs. Lipscomb graduated in 2021 with her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner. Since graduation she has worked in plastic surgery, cosmetic injectables and geriatric primary care. She has vast nursing experience prior to this including pediatrics, cardiac and vascular surgery, postpartum and post-anesthesia care. She is an NC native and lives locally with her 2 children and husband. In her spare time she enjoys church activities, volunteering and attending Canes games with her family.
